The brand new single from Chasing Twisters is a foot-tapping, sing-along Christmas banger all wrapped up in a warm, fuzzy, festive feeling. The actually song started life as a school assignment when Laura was studying Music at high school! Laura found it amongst some old paperwork and wondered if it could be brought to life by Chasing Twisters, by adding a little country magic!
The band had to start rehearsing the song through the summer ready to record in September to meet the deadline for a Christmas release, so the excitement has been mounting for a long time but brought mixed feelings as not all the band members love the Christmas season! Laura finds Christmas magical but drummer Craig is a self-confessed Grinch, and Pat hates wearing Christmas Jumpers.
This song is a classic feel-good festive hit full of soul, harmonies and jingle bells. It describes how being with the ones you live at Christmas can warm any heart, even in the coldest weather or darkest moments, and when you are with that special someone, you don't need any presents to feel that Christmas magic.
